One
of the most rare and legendary Grand Prix cars is the white interior
Ferrari
312P. It is not know if this car was a prototype, pre-production
car, or simply a
short production run. All white interior 312Ps are HK cars, and
all are
spectraflame red. They typically have a yellow Ferrari waterslide
decal on
the front, and #60 racing numbers on the sides and the rear deck.
Note
that reproduction 312P white interiors exist and it is a relatively
simple task to drill out the posts of a red HK car and replace the
black
interior with a reproduction interior. Since genuine white
interior 312Ps have
a current market value of $700-1500, it is imperative that a
prospective buyer
obtain the necessary provenance to ensure that the car is authentic.
