Comments:
This Corvette Looking Car was actually a real "concept" car, built in 1965 by a GM Designer. Topper took this modified Corvette and put on a toothy looking front grill,
some long exhaust pipes and the T Top roof. Like the other "Great Eight", it came with open or sealed doors. The casting continued into the 1970 model year.
Mako Shark in Red, Opening Doors
The Mako Shark came with white or red interiors and an opening hood. Earlier production had opening doors but were later abandoned.

A rare oddity, a Mako Shark body on a Vicious Vette base!
Shawn's Take!
The Mako, as its commonly called, is one of the most highly produced castings from Topper. At last count, it comes 24 colors.
The lime, purple red and honey gold are the most common with honey gold most common on the O/D Mako. Mirrors are only known in two
colors pink and champagne pink. Makos are one of the least expensive castings. Excellent condition ones are often available for
under $30, but a NM copper recently sold for $110 as did a nice platty. Opening doors start at $100 and go up from there. Right now
(2013) Mirror Makos are hot. Even bad ones are bringing in big $$$. Expect o pay over $1K for a mint one in either color.
