        Comments:

The Custom Thunderbird is one of "Detroits", as the real American made models in the Topper line up are known. It is a lightly customized version of the 1968 Ford
Thunderbird. Like the other 7 Cars from the Great Eight, it came in a mirrored finish with open doors, standard finish with open or sealed doors.

The Custom Thunderbird came with white or red interiors and an opening hood. Earlier production had opening doors but were later abandoned.

        Shawn's Take!

The T-Bird commonly came in red, purple and gold. It also came in orange, violet, pine green, light green, line, teal, aqua, royal blue and light orange being rare. All
colors also came with the black roof variation. Sealed door versions are almost always orange. Rare is any color NOT orange! I only know of a handful of golds and one
teal. Mirror colors are orange, purple, lavender, red, gold, blue with gold with white interior as the rarest. Prices of common T-Birds are in the $190-$225 range with
a black roof model slightly higher. A light orange will push $350. Sealed door versions are in the $250 range with a NM/M gold closer to $400. Mirrors that are clean
usually start around $225 with the gold/white pushing $600-$800.
