Comments:
This casting was used throughout the Flying Colors era. It was originally issued with a metal base but it was converted to a chrome plastic
base in 1975. Two different alternate colors are known, yellow and light green. The yellow version has two tampo color variations where magenta
replaced blue. A dark blue version was issued for 1977 which had an altogether different tampo design that transitioned into the BW era.
Alternate Color Baja Bruiser
Note the capped wheels front and rear, an early and interesting variation of the alternate color Baja Bruisers.
Alternate Color Baja Bruiser - Through Hole Wheels
The Through Hole style wheels are more common. The black roll cage is a kid painted.
Alternate Color Baja Bruiser - Green
This color was released in 1975 concurrent with the base changing to plastic.
Plastic Base Baja Bruiser
This version sported a chrome plastic base but is otherwise identical to the 1974 release
1977 Release of the Baja Bruiser
The last release featured a new color and entirely new tampo design.
