1974
1974 saw the introduction of the "tampo", the pad printing process used to decorate the cars.
The 1974 line also introduced the term "Flying Colors"!, a marketing scheme to make the less popular enamel paints more popular.
In 1974 only a few new castings were released, the bulk of the line being re-released models with new colors and some with new names.
