The product line for 1970, saw alot of new castings in the existing specialities and the introduction of two new lines: "The Heavyweights" and the "Spoilers".
Mattel also initiated their now famous "Snake vs. Mongoose" drag racing sponsorship with the two ubiquitous funny cars.
