Comments:
As one of the ten Shell promos, the Rocket Bye Baby underwent casting modifications that make it quite different from the 1971
casting of the same name.
Rocket Bye Baby Modifications
The side vents were cast shut and the tail pipe mechanism was omitted, replaced entirely by a new design for the rear.
The wheels were changed to "through hole" style and the base was modified to add crush protectors in the rear.
No other changes to the casting are noted.
Rocket Bye Baby Interior Variations
The Rocket Bye Baby mostly came with a black interior, however white and silver interiors have been found but only in the blue colors.
