Comments:
The 1973 version utilizes the same casting as the Hong Kong version of the 1970 Porsche 917. No body casting changes are noted.
The casting was released again as a Flying Colors model and again in the Super Chromes line.

The flat black and the tail light details are omitted on the 1973 version.
The base was modified to accommodate the changed to "through hole" style wheels, adding crush protectors in the rear and anti-rub "nibs" to the front and rear.
